The Scotiabank Women Initiative MasterClass series presented by NEXT Canada: Bojana Sentaler

The Scotiabank Women Initiative in partnership with NEXT Canada is hosting a MasterClass series for female-identifying founders next week. Come join us for an inspiring session as we hear about Bojana Sentaler and her journey in launching her luxury outwear brand SENTALER. Since 2009, Bojana has grown SENTALER into a widely recognized brand carried by all major department stores in North America including Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and Holt Renfrew. In this discussion moderated by Donna Bishop, founder of Fashion Talks, Bojana will discuss her experience as a designer, the essential skills that have led to her success with SENTALER and finally the role in mentorship has played in her career.

  • The journey in the fashion industry as a designer
  • Advice for female business owners on growing a successful brand
  • How she plans on integrating her passion for sustainability into her business model

Born in Belgrade, Bojana Sentaler moved to Toronto at the age of eight. While sketching fashion designs from a young age was her passion, Bojana decided to obtain a university degree in Marketing and Finance. After graduating from the Schulich School of Business, her paced paced career to an influential encounter with late fashion icon, Karl Lagerfeld. In 2009, she launched the luxury outerwear brand SENTALER. Throughout the years her brand has famously been worn by Royals and celebrities including Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry, Big Sean, Heidi Klum, Gigi Hadid, and many more.
